USA -luminus joins the American Electrical Appliances Association

Luminus Devices, a developer and 'big chip manufacturer' of high-light outputs, Sunner LED, announced Wednesday that it has joined the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), an association of electrical and Medical imaging equipment manufacturers founded in 1926. The 430 member companies manufacture products used in nine industrial sectors including power generation, transmission and distribution, control, and electricity use. Worldwide sales of NEMA products range in excess of $1,200,000,000. Companies manufacturing electrical products in the United States are eligible to join NEMA.

Used in a variety of lighting applications requiring high brightness and efficiency, a wide white color palette, high color rendering and a long life. General lighting applications for indoor and outdoor include street lighting, entertainment, construction, automotive, medical, electronics, manufacturing, and machine vision, as well as display and digital signage markets.
